The full bar is located right in the center of the dining room, so you get a bird’s-eye view of some of the great people watching this busy area has to offer. Or, post up outside on our open patio to keep an eye on the local foot traffic.
A. MA. ZING! Gorgeous sunny January day with the family called for venturing out of our "burbs" to try something new. We had heard great recommendations for Twisted Root, so decided to try it out. SO glad we did! Walking in, you get a cool vibe right away. Pallets on the walls as part of the decor, kind of industrial-feeling, cool music, graffiti on the walls (you can sign your name or whatever you want to), signs showing how they've been voted on of the top burgers, etc! ... We are definitely going back... probably to the Roanoke one next time (closer) but we loved the Legacy area and want to spend more time there as well. Great choice!! Happy campers here.
Gluten free buns from local oven make Twisted Root a guaranteed pleaser for the gastrically challenged. We enjoyed drinks from their full bar while people watching on their patio right in the middle of the shops at legacy. The burgers all looked amazing, but I only tried the gluten free spicy goat. It was a nice mix of sweet, spicy, and savory, but I think I will go with something more traditional next time. The sweet potato fries paired nicely with my burger and are the only gluten free side.
Wow! I could eat here everyday! Got the goat cheese burger and it was phenomenal! Fun, laid back atmosphere! Can't wait to go back and try a new kind of burger! also got the fried pickles but w the awesome pickle bar there was no need for them and the burger was more than filling. The way they season the meat and cook it is awesome! Go! Try it!
Obviously, his award-winning smile and blue ribbon personality landed him this sweet gig, but we especially enjoy his sunset and rainbow photo collection.
Working roughly 260 days a year, times the 4.298 years since she was hired in 2009, Nedra estimates a consumption of 1,117.48 burgers. (Couldn’t finish that one.)
